Here share 4 MX sensor programming methods by using the newly designed Autel MaxiTPMS ITS600E (ITS600) TPMS tablet.
Let’s quickly review each programming method.
Firstly power on the ITS600E
Tap the TPMS icon and tap VIN scan to identify the vehicle
- Copy by Activation
- Copy by OBD
- Copy by Manual Input
- Auto Create

Firstly power on the ITS600E
Tap the TPMS icon and tap VIN scan to identify the vehicle
Tap ‘Trigger’ to enter the function menu
Method 1: Copy by Activation
This method requires the original sensor to be activated.
Select ‘Programming’ tab
The sensor’s ID will display in the second column to the right of the tire label.
Tap the tire location on the display interface
Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E
Tap Copy By Activation>> click ‘OK’
The ID from the original sensor will be programmed to the MX sensor.
Method 2: Copy by OBD
This method requires the sensor IDs to be read from the vehicle’s ECU.
Connect the VCI to the vehicle’s OBD2 port
Turn the ignition on and pair the Autel VCI with MaxiTPMS ITS600E
Tap ‘Diagnostics’ tab on the function menu
The registered sensor IDS will display in the second column to the right of the tire label
Tap the tire location on the display interface
Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E
Tap Copy By OBD >> click ‘OK’
The registered sensor ID will be copied to the MX sensor.
Method 3: Copy by Manual Input
This method requires the sensor ID to be manually entered place the new MX sensor in front of the Autel ITS600E.
Tap the tire location on the display interface
Tap’ Copy By Manual Input’
Input the sensor ID
Note: The ID is either digital all numbers or hexadecimal a combination of numbers and letters)
Method 1: Copy by Activation
This method requires the original sensor to be activated.
Select ‘Programming’ tab
The sensor’s ID will display in the second column to the right of the tire label.
Tap the tire location on the display interface
Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E
Tap Copy By Activation>> click ‘OK’
The ID from the original sensor will be programmed to the MX sensor.
Method 2: Copy by OBD
This method requires the sensor IDs to be read from the vehicle’s ECU.
Connect the VCI to the vehicle’s OBD2 port
Turn the ignition on and pair the Autel VCI with MaxiTPMS ITS600E
Tap ‘Diagnostics’ tab on the function menu

Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E

Input the sensor ID

It will program this ID into the new sensor.
Method 4: Auto Create
This method creates a new sensor ID and programs it to the sensor
Tap Programming>> Auto Create
The tablet will create and display the new ID.
Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E
Tap ‘OK’ to program the sensor with the new ID
It will program this ID into the new sensor.

The tablet will create and display the new ID.
Place the new MX sensor in front of the ITS600E
Tap ‘OK’ to program the sensor with the new ID
Because the new IDs were created relearn is necessary, the auto create method can wirelessly program up to 20 MX sensors at one time, a great feature for those technicians who manage a fleet of vehicles.
